Emma MacDonald has over ten years of experience managing the recruitment process for global, top-tier firms.

For the past four years she has worked at Withers, an international private client law firm where she was responsible for all aspects of graduate recruitment to include marketing strategy, selection, competency and assessment centre design, as well as the hiring of lawyers and support managers.

Prior to entering the legal sector, Emma worked for two years at AstraZeneca, a global pharmaceutical company, where she advised hiring managers on best practice and sourcing methods and provided them with interview training for the recruitment of their sales forces.

In January 2001 Emma joined venture capital firm, Crescendo Ventures where she was a consultant for their Portfolio Development Group. This involved the selection of the management teams for the portfolio companies, advising them on best practice and introducing them to key service providers.

Between 1997 and 2001 Emma worked in the New York and London offices of Mitchell Madison Group, a strategic management consulting firm, where she managed the recruitment of European and US MBAs.

Emma speaks French and Spanish fluently and has a degree in Modern Languages.
