Caroline Walker, Selection and Assessment Manager


Prior to working in banking, Caroline's HR career led to experience in a variety of sectors, including telecommunications, recruitment consultancy, oil, and the real time financial news sector, in both recruiting and generalist roles.

In 1998, Caroline joined Morgan Stanley to work as an HR generalist supporting the Investment Banking Division, also managing the summer and full time graduate recruitment campaign and programme. In 2000 she joined the central campus recruiting team and managed the firm-wide recruiting effort for Investment Banking, Sales and Trading and Private Wealth Management.  In addition to this, Caroline worked with New York on the ongoing development and enhancement of the in-house candidate tracking system including the introduction of online numerical testing to the securities business areas.

Caroline left Morgan Stanley responsible for the lateral and MBA recruiting efforts, and since leaving the firm has worked on a consultancy basis for them on a number of key graduate selection projects; including competency development and assessment centre design for both new and existing programmes.

Caroline has a degree in Business Studies, and is CIPD qualified.  She is BPS level A qualified and has undertaken SHL Training in Occupational Assessment, subjects covered include; competency based interviewing, job analysis and competency design, assessment centre design and occupational testing.
